Position Title
Position Summary / Career Interest:
Performs a variety of sanitation and food service duties in accordance with safety, sanitation and service standards.Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions- Maintains a safe, sanitary work environment conforming to policies and regulations Operates and maintains food service equipment
- Logs dishmachine temperatures; ensure dishmachine temperatures are in compliance with standards before using dishmachine
- Prepares dishroom and dishmachine prior to use; scrapes and soaks dinnerwares; loads and unloads dishmachine following established procedures
- Prepares pot/pan area and pot/pan washer prior to use; scrapes, soaks, washes, sanitizes and put puts/pan away following established procedures
- Removes trash, boxes and other waste from the department
- Puts stock from deliveries away following proper procedure
- Transports carts throughout the hospital
- Cleans throughout the department including but not limited to surfaces, equipment, carts, walls, and floors
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Food service experience.
Required Licensure and Certification
- Clay County Food Handler permit or ServSafe certification within 30 days.
Knowledge Requirements
- Ability to read and write.
