Welcome visitors in person and by phone, answer questions, and provide information about Recreation Center programs, services, and facilities. Process class registrations, facility admissions, room rentals, locker reservations, and other transactions using recreation management software. Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately while maintaining appropriate accounting procedures. Monitor facility access, assist with identification and check-in processes, and help enforce facility policies and procedures. Manage equipment check-outs, merchandise sales, and basic inventory tracking while supporting daily front desk operations.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent. One year of customer service and clerical experience, including cash handling. Ability to obtain a valid driver's license. Ability to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
Enjoy helping people and providing friendly, professional customer service in a busy environment. Communicate clearly and confidently with a wide variety of customers, coworkers, and community members. Stay organized, manage multiple tasks at once, and maintain accuracy when handling payments and registrations. Are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable learning new computer systems and office technology.
