  • Base Salary $107,312 + 17% superannuation

The Gadigal Centre is the University of Sydney's dedicated student centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, providing academic, pastoral and cultural support services to Indigenous students to help them achieve their full potential.

The Gadigal Centre plays a key role in supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student success, engagement and belonging at the University. We are seeking a Senior Administration Officer (Identified) to provide high-level administrative and operational support across a diverse range of activities, projects and stakeholder engagements.

Working closely with the Advancement Manager and broader Gadigal Centre team, you will coordinate administrative operations, financial processes, events and reporting activities that support the Centre's strategic objectives. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work closely with the Advancement Manager, University stakeholders and external partners to support operational activities

  • manage the delivery of day-to-day administrative services and provide guidance on policies and procedures

  • respond to complex enquiries and provide advice, recommendations and solutions on administrative and operational matters

  • coordinate financial administration including purchasing, invoices, travel arrangements and expenditure reporting

  • prepare reports, analyse data and maintain records, databases and documentation in line with University requirements

  • coordinate meetings, events, workshops and alumni engagement activities, including logistics and stakeholder support.

About you

  • identified Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person

  • demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support in a higher education or similarly complex service environment

  • experience managing financial processes, budgets, expenditure and reporting activities

  • ability to prepare reports and analyse information from multiple sources to support operational decision-making

  • experience managing records, databases and administrative systems in accordance with established procedures and policies

  • tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.
