Trailer Technician B - Reefer Technician

Responsibilities

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Trailer Technician / Reefer Technician to repair and maintain the reefer units at our Reyes Beverage Group facility in Grand Prairie.  

You will primarily be working on Carrier equipment.

 

Shift: Full-Time l Monday - Friday  7:00am-3:30pmPay: $30.00 - $34.00/hr, depending upon experience

Position Responsibilities: 

• The Trailer Technician will mainly be focused on diagnosing and repairing Carrier refrigeration equipment.
• As a Trailer Technician, you will assist with diagnosing and detailed inspections of complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software 
• You will complete thorough documentation of work orders for repairs through the online AssetWorks system 
• You will install trailer refrigeration, heating units, and external graphics as well as possibly perform basic welding, metal cutting, and installation of hydraulic liftgate components 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience: 

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience   
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement) 
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles

Preferred Education and Experience: 

• Technical School Certification
