Purpose
The purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, to ensure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties under the guidance of the Director of Maintenance and in accordance with federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm, must be able to be on weekend rotation once monthly.
Excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision after 60 days of employment. A daily lunch allowance, 403b match up to 6%, 8 holidays, 3 sick days and 2 weeks vacation the first year.
Essential Job Functions - Duties
1 Assist the Director of Maintenance in maintaining the facility in good repair, perform and assist in routine plumbing, plaster, painting, lighting, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical maintenance and repairs of the facility, equipment, HVAC systems and snow removal.
2 Perform duties as directed or required in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire, safety, infection control, isolation, and sanitation procedures.
3 Promptly report accidents, incidents, unsafe, and hazardous conditions, and defective equipment to the Director of Maintenance.
4 Ensure that work areas are clean, free of hazardous conditions, and that all tools and supplies are properly stored to always ensure compliance with established regulations and procedures.

Requirements
Qualifications
1 Must be a least 18 years of age
2 Completion of high school education or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
3 Must speak and understand English.
4 Must possess an agreeable and positive attitude toward the residents.
5 Must have basic Maintenance knowledge.
6 Must be able to pass a criminal background check as well as have a clean driving motor vehicle record.
7 Must be able to complete assigned tasks unsupervised.
