Title: Quality Flex Technician
Location: Omaha, NE
Hours: M-F 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm ($1 differential during 2nd shift hours) 
Travel: 5% as needed

We are actively seeking a Quality Flex Technician to join our growing organization and help us Nurture What You Love!

As our Quality Flex Technician, you’ll make an impact by:
  • Overseeing and monitoring the inspection and testing of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to established food safety and product quality standards.
  • Providing backup/vacation coverage for Plant Quality Technician and Quality Inspector Receiving on 1st or 2nd shift.
  • Providing Product Safety and Quality support for the Warehouse and Operations.
  • Conducting Product Safety and Quality Training for staff, when needed.
  • Establishing inspection protocols, define sampling procedures, and determine equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process. Recommending changes to procedures based on inspection results.
  • Overseeing product rework processes within Product Safety and Quality and the warehouse as needed.
  • Maintaining  product retention program.
  • Assisting with Product Safety and Quality department projects.
  • Assisting in investigation activities for adverse events, incident reports and customer complaints.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation, administration, and measurement of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Controlling non-conforming products according to company policy and initiate Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARS) or Non-conforming product reports (NCP) as needed.
What you need to succeed:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting (preferably food related)
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, inventory management systems)
