Registered Nurse Coordinator - Radiation Oncology

ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our Radiation Oncology team based at the ChristianaCare B130 Hospital Site in Newark, DE. Candidates must be willing to provide cross-coverage at the following locations as needed:

• Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, Newark, DE
• Concord Health Center, Chadds Ford, PA

Schedule

• Full-time, 80 hours biweekly
• Day shift, no rotation
• Flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
• No holidays
• Weekends-not typical but per department guidelines

Our Team:

There are twelve (12) Radiation Oncology Coordinator (RN) responsible for coverage at the three locations, with seven nurses scheduled to cover the high volume of patient visits at the main HFGCCRI location in Newark, three nurses covering the high acuity inpatients and HDR patients at the Hospital, and one-two nurse at the Concord Health location.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Multi-State RN License required.
• BSN required
• BLS certification required
• OCN certified by the Oncology Nursing Society is preferred.  If not OCN certified, certification should occur within two (2) years. 
• Oncology certification preferred, or completion of oncology-specific contact hours as required by Commission on Cancer standards.
• Three or more years of combined clinical experience; oncology nursing experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
