As Imaging Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of engineers on imaging/video products (Webcams and other video capable devices). You will be tasked with delivering amazing video image quality by combining image acquisition, image analysis, image quality tuning and image processing. You will be responsible for analyzing, and implementing video solutions addressing the needs of current and future generations of products in overall objective and subjective image /video quality as well as integrating them in the current and future video capable products.

• Design and execute image quality tests for Logitech webcams.
• Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in image quality
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize image processing algorithms and camera module design
• Support development of automated tests for IQ validation and webcam end to end testing
• Implement improvement in the color processing pipeline (Defective pixel correction, color interpolation, gamma, denoise, sharpness, brightness, …)
• Implement and optimize algorithms utilizing image processing, computational photography, computer vision, Deep Learning techniques as well as AI
• Support TO (techno office), in porting of features from host to device
• Contribute to the development of new webcam features that push the boundaries of image quality
• Lead or assist in the video certification processes for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Windows Hello
• Collaborate with team members to deliver the best cost/experience compromises for our products
   

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Imaging Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of image quality metrics and testing methodologies
• Experience with image processing software and tools (e.g., Imatest, MATLAB)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Passion for creating high-quality images and a strong user focus
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with camera module design and characterization
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB, …)
• Knowledge of color science and image quality standards
