Cross Country Education is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIIs) to provide one-on-one support that helps K–12 students build confidence, develop positive behaviors, and succeed in classrooms throughout Beverly Hills, CA.
Position Overview:
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to K–12 students, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans to promote academic, social, and emotional success.
- Support students in developing positive behavioral, communication, and self-regulation skills while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor student progress and implement effective behavioral strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and respond appropriately to behavioral situations using approved intervention techniques and established protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience supporting K–12 students with behavioral needs in a school or pediatric setting
- Valid Driver's License
- Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
