About the Role: The (Associate/Junior/Senior) Solutions Developer (Power Platform, PowerBI, SharePoint) is an entry-level role under the Talent Accelerator: IDIQ FIT Leaders Graduate Program designed to support the next generation of application development and digital solutions professionals within the Information Technology Department (ITD). The role involves gathering requirements, building business cases, and developing end‑to‑end solutions, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and support, while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in Agile and DevOps environments, maintain technical documentation, and drive continuous improvement by enhancing architectures, strengthening compliance, and ensuring secure, scalable solutions that meet business needs. We are seeking graduates who have demonstrated strong academic performance, including High Distinction and Distinction level results, together with active involvement in university extracurricular activities. Scope of Work/Responsibilities The (Associate/Junior/Senior) Solutions Developer (Power Platform, PowerBI, SharePoint) is responsible for developing, coordinating, and architecting all activities related to the development of Power Platform, PowerBI, and SharePoint, including integration with existing applications and third-party solutions. Perform and plan end-to-end solution design work for the Power Platform and other automation initiatives, including solution design, coding, unit testing, debugging, documenting and implementing information systems. This includes identifying and troubleshooting any application issues, resolving or escalating them as needed. Additionally, She/he will assist in gathering requirements, building business cases, and estimating effort for enhancements of existing solutions. He will report to designated International Staff and/or senior National Staff. Detailed Tasks/Expected Output Solutions Design and Delivery 1. Communicate with clients to understand their needs and recommend solutions that meet those needs. 2. Design, implement and maintain solutions based on client needs. 3. Ensure all captured business requirements are translated and aligned with ITD’s technical solutions, product roadmap, backlog, and architecture. 4. Track client feedback to ensure satisfaction with the solution provided. 5. Support delivery through Scaled Agile Framework, DevOps, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) testing, and deployment. 6. Work with development teams to create new solutions or improve existing ones. 7. Review all design issues and provide guidance to developers, support engineers and administrators on fixing the defects. 8. Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor. Knowledge Management 1. Maintain platform and technical documentation using Github CoPilot or other similar tools. Continuous Improvement and Compliance 1. Identify opportunities for improvement in existing solutions and recommend enhancements to be implemented. 2. Support the analysis of existing architectures to ensure solutions are in line with overall enterprise architecture, identify weakness and recommend improvements. 3. Perform system security assessments to ensure that solutions are in compliance with the security framework and that data is safe from unauthorize access. Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience) • Bachelor's degree or tertiary-level institute diploma/certificate preferably in Information Technology, Business Administration/ Management, Engineering, or Computer Science-related courses or equivalent • Power Platform, PowerBI, and SharePoint 5+ years of experience (for Senior position) • Open to fresh graduates or candidates with minimal professional experience. Essential skills and experience include: • Hands-on experience architecting solutions that involve customization to include server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies, and plug-ins. • Experience and knowledge with the following: o Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, Power Pages) o SharePoint Development Framework (SPFx) o Server-Side and Client-Side Object Model o Plugins and Custom Workflow Development o .NET Programming Model o C# Programming Model • Knowledge/Experience in the following: o Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI, Power Pages) o .NET, JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, FabricJS, jQuery), HTML, CSS, REST APIs, XML, JSON, SQL, and other database engines o C# or Visual Basic, Visual Studio, Web Services, and the CRM SDK is preferred. • Experience in requirement analysis and business process re-engineering. • Experience in agile methodologies (experience in product management). • Ability to solve complex technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge. • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate with colleagues at multiple levels, within own work location and throughout the Bank. • Demonstrated teamwork (ability to working with others to achieve more effective results), and conceptualization (developing viable solutions based on an understanding of institutional perspective and needs) skills and management of others. • Excellent written and oral English communication skills. Reporting and Coordination • Weekly status reports and technical updates will be provided. • Compliance with the bank’s security, risk, and regulatory guidelines is mandatory. Work Arrangement • The role requires onsite reporting five (5) days a week, unless otherwise advised or approved by the supervisor based on operational requirements. • If the user unit requires contractors to report to ADB HQ, compliance is mandatory. • Work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Manila time, unless otherwise agreed with the ADB ITD supervisor or user unit.
