Description

Why us?

Catbird is a welcoming independent boutique hotel that’s full of art, heart, and good vibes. This is what happens when you blur the line between hotel and home and add a hefty dose of counterculture. From thoughtful spaces that seamlessly facilitate work/life balance to the lively rooftop with panoramic views, there's a lot to discover here.

Paying homage to the history of the neighborhood around it, Catbird encompasses a 2,500 square foot, four-bedroom historic home, originally built in 1890, which has been preserved as part of the hotel. The historic Klee House is an ideal space for all your events and celebrations with up to 40 guests. The 2,380 square-foot home has plenty of mixed-use spaces for entertaining.

Rook is your new favorite spot in RiNo, Denver — perched at the top of the Catbird Hotel. Our tagline is “Rounds not Rivals” and we’re looking for people who want to join our down-to-earth crew of cocktail aficionados, slinging classic and playful drinks in a laidback environment. The bar encompasses both an expansive skyline rooftop, as well as an intimate indoor space—we are looking for people who are just as comfortable at a corn hole pit as they are in a cocktail lounge.

The application period will be open for approximately 30 days or until a suitable candidate is identified. We encourage qualified individuals to submit their applications within this timeframe.

BEHAVIORAL FOCUS

At Sage Hospitality, how we work matters just as much as what we do. We are guided by a shared purpose to enrich lives, one experience at a time, and a vision to redefine how the world experiences hospitality.

At Catbird, we embrace:

  • Stay awhile - stir things up - Is it a hotel? Is it an apartment? Catbird lives somewhere in the sweet spot between the two. Full kitchens, roomy layouts, and spaces designed for real living — with the perks of hotel life when you want them. Stay a night, a month, or long enough that your coffee mug earns a favorite spot.
  • Where Art, Heart, & Mischief Meet - Catbird was born in RiNo — where murals climb buildings, ideas spill out of studios, and creativity refuses to behave. This is a home base for artists, explorers, and anyone who prefers a little personality with their place to stay.
  • Work when you must. Play when you can - Some mornings are for emails. Some afternoons are for rooftop cocktails. Catbird was built for the modern rhythm — with places to focus, spaces to gather, and just enough freedom to blur the line between productivity and pleasure.
  • RiNo's Living Room - At the center of it all is Catbird Kitchen, café and neighborhood marketplace where locals and travelers cross paths. Coffee in the morning, conversations all day, and a steady hum of RiNo energy from open to close.
  • Rook - Come for the views and vibes. Stay for the chaos and cocktails - Up top, things get a little mischievous. Rook, Catbird's rooftop bar, mixes clever cocktails with classic gameplay. It's not just the home of Halfie-Hour and Beat the Bartender. You can also find pool tables, board-game rivalries, and skyline views that make you forget tomorrow's alarm.
  • Old Bones. New Stories - Just steps away sits Klee House, a small but meaningful piece of RiNo's past woven into Catbird's present. Because great neighborhoods keep their history close — and their stories even closer.

All associates play an essential role in creating welcoming, inclusive environments where kindness, hospitality, and excellence are felt by guests and teams alike. These brandings reflect the unique spirit of Catbird and align with Sage Hospitality's commitment to genuine, meaningful connection.
