As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while using technology to document observations and support site operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions in clear, accurate reports and complete required shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
