About the role:
The Sales Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for delivering clear, accurate, and actionable reporting that strengthens pipeline visibility, improves forecasting discipline, and supports a rapidly growing sales organization. This role serves as the analytical backbone of the sales team—maintaining Salesforce data integrity, building reporting dashboards leaders rely on, and partnering directly with senior sales stakeholders to validate pipeline and forecast submissions.
The position requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility commercial environment.
Location:
Herndon, VA (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week)
Key Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and enhance Salesforce reports and dashboards used by sales leadership, account executives,
and executive stakeholders.
• Partner directly with sales leaders to analyze, stress‑test, and validate pipeline and forecast submissions ahead
of monthly and quarterly business reviews.
• Respond quickly and accurately to ad‑hoc reporting requests and informal leadership inquiries.
• Maintain Salesforce data hygiene, ensuring field accuracy, disciplined opportunity‑stage usage, and clean pipeline inputs.
• Build and manage Excel‑based analytical models and trackers when Salesforce reporting alone is insufficient
(pipeline coverage, quota attainment, bookings, win/loss).
• Support monthly and quarterly business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with clear, decision‑ready reporting packages.
• Identify data gaps, reporting issues, or process inefficiencies and proactively recommend improvements.
• Serve as a trusted reporting and data partner for senior sales and revenue stakeholders.
Key Knowledge and Skills
• Hands‑on Salesforce reporting experience; ability to build dashboards and structured reports is essential.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, nested formulas, complex logic).
• Experience with visualization/BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or MaxIQ is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of sales compensation concepts (quota, attainment, incentives) preferred.
• Strong analytical judgment and comfort working with imperfect or incomplete datasets.
• Excellent communication skills with proven confidence engaging senior leaders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast‑paced sales environment.
• A flexible, collaborative, “roll‑up‑your‑sleeves” working style.
Key Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Up to 5 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business analytics, or a similar analytical role.
• U.S. work authorization required; must be comfortable working within a defense/government contracting environment.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$98,900.00-143,600.00 USDThe actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
