Caregiver – Ongoing Saturdays & Additional On-Call Opportunities

Location: Aberdeen, WA

Family Best Care is hiring a reliable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver for an ongoing in-home care assignment in Aberdeen, Washington.

This position offers a consistent Saturday schedule, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts Monday through Friday as needed.

We are looking for a dependable caregiver who is committed to providing quality one-on-one care, maintaining consistent communication, and building a positive, supportive relationship with the client.

This role is ideal for caregivers seeking a reliable part-time schedule with the flexibility to accept additional hours when coverage needs arise.

Schedule

Guaranteed Ongoing Schedule:

• Saturday: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• 6 scheduled hours per week

• Ongoing weekly assignment

Additional On-Call Opportunities:

• Monday–Friday: 11:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• Additional shifts may become available based on client needs, caregiver absences, or scheduling changes.

• Weekday shifts are not guaranteed and will be offered as needed.

• Applicants who have flexibility to accept additional weekday shifts are strongly encouraged to apply.

Important: Applicants must be available and committed to working the ongoing Saturday schedule. Consistent attendance and reliability are essential for this assignment.

Pay and Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay: $22.00–$26.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

• Overtime paid at 1.5x, when applicable.

• Holiday pay for company-recognized holidays, when applicable.

• Health insurance available for caregivers who consistently work 35 or more hours per week, subject to eligibility.

What You Will Do

• Provide compassionate, individualized care in the client's home.

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, as outlined in the care plan.

• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration.

• Provide medication reminders within the caregiver's authorized scope.

• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, comfortable home environment.

• Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention as appropriate.

• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful client engagement.

• Follow the established care plan and accurately document services provided.

• Communicate client updates, concerns, and scheduling needs to the office promptly.

• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and respect for the client's preferences and routines.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Active Washington State Home Care Aide (HCA) certification OR Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC/CNA) credential.

• Current TB test or screening.

• Current CPR certification.

• Current Washington State Food Worker Card.

• Valid government-issued photo identification.

• Reliable transportation to and from the client's home in Aberdeen, WA.

• Reliable phone access for work-related communication.

• Ability to consistently work Saturdays from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

• Willingness to accept additional weekday shifts when available is preferred.

• Strong communication skills, dependability, and a professional approach to caregiving.

• Ability to complete required onboarding documentation if selected.
