About the Role

As a Plumber with Unite Contracting Solutions, you will bring technical expertise to each assignment, working independently and alongside a supportive crew. You will diagnose issues, plan efficient solutions, and deliver reliable results that keep water, gas, and drainage systems functioning safely. Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and connect pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances according to code and project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine layout and material needs.
• Inspect and test systems for leaks, pressure problems, and compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose plumbing malfunctions and perform repairs on water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related equipment.
• Cut, thread, bend, and solder pipe using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members about scope, progress, and recommendations.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe throughout every phase of a project.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who combine hands-on experience with a commitment to doing excellent work. A strong Plumber in this role will meet most of the following:

• Proven experience installing and repairing residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Relevant plumbing license or certification consistent with Louisiana requirements, or willingness to obtain one.
• Solid understanding of local plumbing codes, safety practices, and inspection standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
• Proficiency with standard plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Physical capability to lift materials, work in confined spaces, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license and reliable attendance.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and a customer-focused attitude.
