Using Tecsys Supply Chain Planning and related data-driven systems, the Director builds and governs the forecasting models, planning parameters, and inventory strategy that balance clinical service line requirements against national supplier inventory shortages, allocation events, and market volatility. The Director serves as the enterprise authority on coverage position during supply disruption, quantifying exposure, directing substitution and conservation strategy in partnership with Value Analysis and clinical leadership, and escalating with the evidence leadership requires to act in advance of clinical impact.
Demand Planning is also a core enabler of product standardization across MUSC hospitals and clinics. The Director quantifies the demand, inventory, and financial impact of standardization and conversion initiatives, sequences their execution, and converts clinical variation into a governed, forecastable catalog.
