Software Developer — Front-End UI (New Grad)

Overview

We are building a next-generation service delivery team and are looking for ambitious, fresh-thinking new graduate developers to join our front-end UI team. As a full-stack-oriented web developer, your initial focus and training will be on the front-end, building the user-facing applications for our service delivery platform, with the opportunity to grow into back-end development as you develop on the team.

Working in the front-end, you'll operate where design meets code, collaborating closely with UX designers and product managers to help shape a great user experience. You have a passion for experimenting and learning, always with the user and customer in mind, and an eye for clean, well-crafted UI. You'll build the business logic needed to consume cloud-based APIs from your back-end peers, growing your engineering discipline along the way.

As you grow in the role, you'll have the opportunity to extend into back-end development — modern native cloud technologies, serverless functions, and microservices-based architectures — working closely with our development, DevOps, and test teams. We're also building a team that works fluently with modern AI-assisted and agentic development tools as a core part of how Vwe design, build, and test software.

Responsibilities

• Writing UI web applications in Angular 10+
• Writing code in Typescript in Node.js to support front-end features
• Using agentic coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development, testing, and documentation work
• Writing automated unit tests and E2E tests for UI features
• Contributing to design documentation (Detailed Design, Test Plans) under guidance from senior team members
• Working within a CI/CD environment
• Working in Agile Software Development Processes (Scrum and Kanban)
• Working within a team, with regular mentorship from senior developers
• Growth path: writing Lambda functions and back-end services as skills develop
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other compatible degree
• 0–2 years of related experience — recent graduates welcome; co-op, internship, or capstone project experience valued
• Demonstrated ability to deliver working software through coursework, internships, co-op terms, or personal/academic projects
• Working proficiency in Angular 10+, CSS, HTML5, and Typescript
• Familiarity with Node.js and consuming RESTful/cloud-based APIs from the front-end
• Interest in or hands-on experience with AI-assisted/agentic programming tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) as part of a modern development workflow
• Exposure to or interest in back-end technologies (serverless/Lambda, NoSQL/DynamoDB, Elasticsearch) a plus — training provided as you grow into the role
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally on AWS
