Summary:
 

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of multiple Greenacres sites. This position requires a broad range of technical skills across building systems, routine repairs, and preventative maintenance, as well as the ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic environment. The Facilities Technician plays a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained facilities for all staff and visitors.

This role also offers significant growth potential, with the opportunity to develop into a key support position for the Facilities Site Lead, assisting with planning, coordination, and oversight of facility operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, painting, small carpentry, and HVAC support.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Assist with safety protocols, emergency response, and seasonal needs (winterization, storm preparation, etc.).
• Support event setup and cross-departmental requests.
• Oversee contractors for small projects and ensure work meets quality standards.
• Document tasks and track progress through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in facility maintenance or related trades.
• Broad technical knowledge across multiple building systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with a customer service mindset.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, BCI/FBI background check and physical as required.
• Polite and courteous with a "how can I help” attitude.
