Your Next Big Career Move: Service Advisor located in Elmhurst, IL. 

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - Midnight

 Shift Premium: There is a $5,000.00/yr ($192.31, bi-weekly) 2nd shift differential, paid bi-weekly.  

The Opportunity (Job Purpose):

Are you ready to make a visible impact? As our next Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

• Independent Dispatch & Scheduling: Process shop repair orders independently by evaluating technician skill sets, scheduling jobs, and assigning repair orders to shop associates to maintain workflow.
• Diagnostic Documentation: Thoroughly document repair requirements, capturing detailed photographs and technical notes needed for estimate justification.
• Customer Communication & Estimating: Prepare comprehensive estimates for repair work and parts; maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding repair timelines, budget updates, and job pricing.
• Insurance & Authorization: Work directly with customers and insurance adjusters/carriers to secure timely approvals, supplemental authorizations, and required claims documentation.
• Billing & Inventory Control: Complete complex invoicing accurately, manage payment collection procedures, and monitor assigned inventory stock (parts, paint, supplies) to prevent job delays.
• Other Duties: Support shop workflow optimization and complete additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
• Dependable and reliable attendance required.
• Mindset: A curious mindset with an entrepreneurial "pioneering spirit," strong integrity, and a passion for continuous professional development.
