Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Assessment in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain professional interactions with individuals at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately while communicating relevant information to incoming personnel and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
