You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with residents, visitors, and staff, and respond to concerns with integrity and care. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a shelter setting.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, common spaces, and the property perimeter, to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for residents, staff, and guests.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
