Do you want to start your career in telecommunications and work with the network technologies of the future? As a Junior Telecom Network Engineer, you will have the opportunity to grow in an innovative environment and help shape the future of communication solutions!

You will work with our client in the telecommunications industry in Helsinki, becoming part of a team responsible for operating, maintaining and developing business-critical mobile Voice Core platforms and services.

Who We Are Looking For

We expect you to have fundamental telecommunications expertise – however, the most important qualities are your drive, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in technology. We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education
• Proven experience (2-5 years) in telecommunications and knowledge of mobile core services/networks. Experience from troubleshooting and resolution of complex incidents across multiple stakeholders is an advantage
• Knowledge of or experience with agile ways of working (e.g., SAFe).
• Hands-on experience of technologies related to automation and cloud such as Kubernetes and related cloud technologies, GitHub/GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and scripting/programming (e.g., Python).
• Basic knowledge of computer networking, telecom services and protocols or system administration is considered an advantage.
• Strong communication, collaboration and analysing skills and good proficiency in both Finnish and English.
• Finnish citizenship (required for security clearance).

Competitive remuneration 3500-4000 EUR monthly/gross*

*Monthly salary offer will be defined based up on the candidate’s professional competence compliance with job demands. The salary is a part of the remuneration package provided by Vivicta, that includes additional bonuses and opportunities (health insurance, additional holidays, professional development etc.)
