Join a global Contract Resource Organization (CRO) where innovation meets purpose. At Worldwide Clinical Trials, we're driven by a shared commitment to improving lives through high-quality clinical research. Our teams are empowered to think creatively, take ownership, and deliver meaningful work that helps bring life-changing therapies to patients around the world.

With more than 4,000 professionals across the globe, we foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued, growth is encouraged, and every contribution makes an impact. Whether you're building your career or bringing years of experience, you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and help shape the future of clinical research.

Make an Impact as a Site Activation Manager at Worldwide

Play a critical role in advancing clinical research by leading site activation activities that help studies move forward efficiently and compliantly. In this role, you'll drive study start-up and site activation deliverables, working closely with sponsors, sites, and cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

You'll be a key point of accountability for site activation strategy and execution, overseeing essential activities such as site identification support, regulatory and ethics submissions, document collection, contract status tracking, and study-specific start-up requirements. Your ability to coordinate stakeholders, manage risks, and maintain project momentum will directly contribute to successful study delivery.

Working within a collaborative global environment, you'll help identify process improvements, support project planning, and provide leadership across site activation activities while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, GCP, and company procedures.

Where You'll Work

This is a REMOTE role open to candidates based in Australia. You will collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.

  • Manage the collection, tracking, analysis, and maintenance of essential study and site documentation.
  • Partner with internal teams to accelerate site qualification, selection, and activation timelines.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to sponsors, project leadership, and study teams.
  • Develop risk assessments and mitigation plans to support successful project execution and delivery.
  • Monitor budgets, track out-of-scope activities, and support change order processes related to site activation work.
  • Establish and evaluate site activation metrics, using insights to drive corrective actions and improve performance against deliverables and KPIs.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, training activities, proposals, and other business development efforts as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a medical, biological, physical, health, pharmacy, or related life science discipline; alternatively, an equivalent healthcare or life science qualification with relevant clinical research experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience within the CRO or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Start-up Management, Project Management, and/or Site Management.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial start-up activities, project planning, and site activation processes.
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP, regulatory requirements, and clinical trial regulations, including study submissions, amendments, safety measures, and trial notifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems independently, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with strong digital systems aptitude.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and global teams.
