Job Overview

The Internal Audit Executive will support internal audit activities by evaluating internal controls, conducting risk-based audits, identifying control weaknesses, and assisting in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Report internal control violations and deviations from standard operating procedures to the Audit Manager.
• Assist in preparing internal audit reports and providing recommendations.
• Maintain and organize audit working papers, indexes, and reports for future reference.
• Assist the Audit Manager in conducting monthly process and risk-based audits.
• Visit branches to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls.
• Perform additional duties related to the role as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or a part qualification from CA Sri Lanka.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in an audit firm, preferably in Internal Audit.
• Experience in the commercial sector is an advantage.
• Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
