Automotive Technician

Richmond Street Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Appleton, Wisconsin. We're seeking a dependable B-level technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to continue developing their skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Straight hourly compensation, not flat rate

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and general automotive repairs
• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns using diagnostic equipment and established repair procedures
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
• Identify additional repair needs and communicate findings clearly
• Follow shop procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and repair capabilities

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• B-level automotive technician experience or comparable hands-on repair skills
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
• Experience performing general automotive maintenance and repairs
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to completing repairs correctly
• Willingness to learn new technologies, pursue additional certifications, and advance professionally
• Dependable work habits and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Current ASE certifications are not required. We're very interested in finding a capable technician who wants to continue learning, improve their skills, and grow with our company.
