Position: Full-Time
Compensation: $25–$27 per hour plus commission
Schedule: 5 days per week

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Lead Sales Stylist to join its Montecito team. This is an opportunity for an established retail professional with a passion for men's fashion, a strong understanding of relationship-based selling, and the ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of sales success and understands how to cultivate lasting client relationships. There is an opportunity for the right individual to develop and manage a personal client book, build a loyal clientele, and play an important role in growing the business.

We are looking for someone who combines strong selling skills with genuine hospitality, professionalism, and an entrepreneurial approach to retail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome every customer and make them feel valued, ensuring their expectations are exceeded through exceptional service and a memorable brand experience.

• Develop meaningful relationships with customers by understanding their individual preferences, lifestyle, and wardrobe needs.

• Demonstrate strong product knowledge, including designer collections, fabrics, garment construction, fit, and styling.

• Provide thoughtful styling recommendations, wardrobe building, and complete-look suggestions to drive sales.

• Build, maintain, and grow a personal clientele through relationship development, clienteling, personalized outreach, and consistent follow-up.

• Drive individual and team sales performance while consistently working toward and exceeding established sales goals.

• Identify opportunities to attract new customers and develop repeat business.

• Maintain the store's visual presentation, merchandising standards, and overall aesthetic.

• Assist with daily store operations, including inventory, shipment processing, replenishment, merchandising, and general store maintenance.

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented team environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in men's contemporary, designer, or luxury retail.

• An established retail advisor with a proven ability to develop customer relationships and drive sales.

• Passion for menswear, with knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, fit, and styling preferred.

• Experience developing and maintaining a personal clientele or client book is highly desirable.

• Proven ability to quickly build rapport and establish meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues.

• A kind, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine desire to serve others and provide memorable hospitality.

• Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and/or team sales goals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage a discerning clientele.

• A polished, professional, and approachable presence.

• Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

• A collaborative team player who takes pride in their work and represents the brand with professionalism.

SCHEDULE

Full-time position, approximately 5 days per week. Flexibility to work weekends is expected. Typical shifts are approximately 10:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
