The Senior SharePoint Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for administering and supporting SharePoint Online and on-premises environments, planning and executing tenant-to-tenant migrations, and designing and developing enterprise SharePoint and .NET solutions. Working as part of a collaborative development team, this individual will translate business and user requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable solutions using Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), .NET, C#, APIs, and related web technologies. The role also includes modernizing legacy applications and integrations, troubleshooting complex production issues, and providing advanced technical and end-user support.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable SharePoint, Power Platform, SPFx, .NET, C#, API, and integration solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business requirements.
  • Administer and support SharePoint Online and on-premises environments, including site provisioning, hub sites, permissions, external sharing, and tenant-level configuration.
  • Plan and execute SharePoint Online tenant-to-tenant migrations, including assessment, remediation, cutover, validation, and post-migration stabilization.
  • Modernize and enhance legacy SharePoint and .NET applications and integrations, improving performance, reliability, security, and supportability.
  • Apply established architecture, governance, content management, information lifecycle, code quality, testing, deployment, and change-management standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis and defect remediation, and provide advanced technical and end-user support.
  • Create and maintain technical designs, migration runbooks, configuration standards, and operational support documentation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, development teams, infrastructure, security, and service desk teams to deliver solutions and coordinate successful releases and cutovers.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience administering and supporting enterprise SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server environments, including sites, hub sites, permissions, sharing, service configuration, and tenant settings.
  • 3+ years of experience planning and executing SharePoint Online tenant-to-tenant migrations using tools such as ShareGate, including assessment, mapping, incremental migration, cutover, validation, reporting, and remediation.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, governance, information architecture, security, permissions, external sharing, and Microsoft Entra ID identity and cross-tenant access concepts.
  • Experience developing and supporting SharePoint solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, SPFx, REST APIs, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 5+ years of .NET and C# experience developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and modernizing enterprise applications, custom SharePoint components, APIs, and integration services.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint and .NET solutions and provide advanced end-user support, including resolving access, performance, workflow, integration, legacy URL, guest access, defect, and dependency issues.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration, PowerShell automation, source control, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, production deployments, and technical documentation; Azure DevOps experience preferred.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
