Description
Culinary Depot is looking for a driven Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Spring Valley team. This is a commission-only opportunity for a sales professional who knows how to build relationships, follow up, and close deals.
This is not a traditional retail sales job. You'll work with restaurant owners, chefs, contractors, and business owners purchasing high-value commercial kitchen equipment. You'll guide customers from their initial showroom visit through quoting, negotiation, and closing, while building a strong book of repeat business.
What You'll Do
Meet with customers in our showroom to understand their needs and recommend the right commercial kitchen equipment.
Prepare quotes, follow up with prospects, negotiate pricing, and close sales.
Build and manage your own sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in our CRM.
Develop long-term customer relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
Work closely with our purchasing, project management, and delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Learn our product lines, brands, specifications, and pricing to confidently advise customers.
Take ownership of your sales performance and work toward monthly revenue goals.
Who We're Looking For
At least 1 year of experience in commission-based or quota-driven sales.
Experience selling higher-ticket products or services, such as automobiles, furniture, appliances, mattresses, kitchen and bath products, flooring, building supplies, or B2B solutions.
A proven ability to prospect, follow up, negotiate, and close sales.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple active opportunities.
A results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
Availability to work on-site at our Spring Valley, NY showroom.
Nice to Have
Spanish-speaking ability.
Compensation
This is a commission-only position with earnings directly tied to sales performance. There is no guaranteed base salary. The opportunity is best suited for a motivated salesperson who is confident in their ability to generate business, close deals, and earn based on results.
