SALES EXECUTIVE APPRENTICE – LEVEL 4 SALES

Swarm is working with Gleeson Homes who are recruiting Apprentice Sales Executives to join our growing Sales team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Whether you're starting your career, changing direction, or looking for a new challenge, we'll provide the training, support and experience needed to succeed in new homes sales.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is commercially minded and wants to develop a long-term career in professional sales.

An initial fixed term contract, the role offers a possible full-time permanent position after the apprenticeship, where you can continue within the company.

About the Apprenticeship

As a Trainee Sales Executive, you'll learn how to:

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the home-buying journey.
• Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Identify and follow up sales opportunities across multiple channels.
• Support the promotion and sale of Gleeson Homes developments.
• Work closely with Sales and Construction teams to achieve site and regional sales targets.
• Develop the skills and confidence needed to progress into a Sales Executive role.

 

Hours and Pay

Working hours:

On site. Thursday – Monday, 10am – 5pm (20-minute paid lunch) – 35 hours

Salary:

Competitive starting salary: £22,500

Year 2 salary: £25,600

Progression to Sales Executive (£27,000+) upon successful completion of the programme and competency achievement

 

 

Requirements and Desired Qualities

We're looking for someone who is:

• A passion for sales and customer service
• Strong communication and people skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Organised with good attention to detail
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Full UK Driving Licence Essential    
• Willingness to travel across to different sites when required
• Would suit someone in the area including Darlington and Hartlepool

 

Previous sales experience isn't essential. We're interested in your attitude, potential and willingness to learn.

Training Information

Training will be with Swarm Training, a national provider of apprenticeships throughout the UK. The successful candidate will work towards the Level 4 Sales Executive apprenticeship; this apprenticeship will take around 18 months to complete with assessments.

The apprentice must complete a minimum of 6 hours of work each week during working hours while progressing towards their qualification. A tutor will conduct training sessions once a month, during which the apprentice will receive tasks to be completed within their working hours.
