Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated vascular neurologist to join our team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care.

In an interview with Dr. Timothy Lukovits, Section Chief of Cerebrovascular Disease and Stroke, when asked why he has stayed with Dartmouth Health over the years, he stated he appreciates networking with less-resourced hospitals in northern New England while being able to live next to the Appalachian Trail, have only a 10-minute commute, and take advantage of all the activities offered on a beautiful college campus. 

 

Overview:

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient vascular neurology
• Option for research time
• Active member of Acute Response Team
• Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
• Large (50+ providers), collegial neurology team

Requirements:

• BC/BE Vascular Neurology by ABPN
• Ability to obtain/maintain NH medical license
• Excellent clinical skills and proficiency in vascular neurology assessment and management
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care with compassion and empathy
• Demonstrated interest in clinical research and/or academic scholarship in vascular neurology
