Brand and Customer Manager Oncology (m/f/d)
Position Overview
Responsible for the commercial performance, strategic direction, and execution of the company’s Alliance portfolio in Austria and Switzerland
Serve as the primary commercial lead within the Alliance, ensuring alignment between our companies and Alliance Partners’ priorities, governance, and joint business objectives
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that promote Alliance products and services
Drive business planning, marketing projects including analysis, strategy and business & brand plan development, implementation of omnichannel campaigns and expense management delegated to her/ him
Ensure all activities are driven by highest ethical and compliance standards
Primary Activities
Strategy development:
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that promote Alliance products and services
Participate in local and international meetings where appropriate, understanding and translating the global and local alliance/product strategy into local priorities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the company's overall goals and values incl. alliance partners
Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective sales collateral, presentations and other OCE materials (digital, print & event material) that support the sales process
Market understanding
Analyze market research to identify trends and opportunities and use this data to inform marketing strategies & implement respective measures to achieve business goals
Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and new product launches and use this information to adjust marketing strategies as needed
Customer focus:
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, agencies, PAGs and key opinion leaders in the industry
Cost management:
Create and manage budgets for marketing campaigns and measure their effectiveness using data analytics
Support in allocating resources and managing budgets of the franchise
Cross functional collaboration:
Lead effective collaboration with alliance partners and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned execution of strategic priorities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of the Integrated Brand & Customer Plans
Qualifications
Education:
University Degree or above, preferably in business or life sciences (e.g. marketing, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, medicine);
Skills Required:
Deep understanding of the healthcare system and key customer groups within the healthcare environment; oncology experience is an advantage
Proven ability to understand science and translate it into clear messages and compelling marketing content
Strong relationship-building, networking, and stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory compliance, and marketing guidelines
Understanding of customer behavior and experience in developing customer personas to inform marketing strategy
Experience with CRM tools and effective customer data management
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agile environment
Experience with data analytics and measuring marketing campaign effectiveness
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in German and English
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Several years of experience as Junior BCM and/or BCM
Ability to work independently
