Part-Time HGV Class 1 Night Drivers – Rotherham (S66)
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading client based in Rotherham. We are looking for multiple Part-Time HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers to join the team.
Location: Rotherham, S66
Job Type: Ongoing Part-Time Work / Temp-to-Perm Opportunities Available
Pay Rates:
- £17.50 per hour (PAYE)
- £19.61 per hour (Rolled Up Holiday Pay)
Shift Patterns & Start Times:
- Sunday to Friday nights
- Flexible part-time shifts available
- Choose from 1–4 shifts per week
- Start times between 20:00 – 00:00
- Average shift length 10 hours
- Double-manned runs can be 14–15 hours
The Role:
- Trunking vehicle parts to depots across the UK (depots located from Glasgow to Southampton)
- 1–2 drops per shift
- Mixture of cage work, pallets and totes
- Use of tail lift and pump truck for unloading
- Vehicles are pre-loaded before shift start
- Regular double-manned runs required
- No nights out required
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 2 years’ driving experience required
- No maximum points; however, only minor offences accepted (no DR/DG offences)
- Valid CPC and Digi Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
