Lead Marketing Strategy Across One of the Nation's Fastest-Growing Automotive Groups

We're looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to lead regional marketing strategy for a portfolio of automotive dealerships throughout the Midwest. In this role, you'll partner directly with Regional Vice Presidents, General Managers, dealership leaders, and corporate leadership to develop marketing strategies that increase vehicle sales, generate qualified leads, strengthen community engagement, and improve customer experience.

What You'll Do

Develop Regional Marketing Strategy

• Build annual, quarterly, and monthly regional marketing plans 
• Partner with dealership leadership to identify growth opportunities 
• Align marketing initiatives with inventory, sales, and operational priorities 
• Translate company initiatives into localized marketing strategies 
• Identify market trends, competitive opportunities, and customer insights 

Drive Business Performance

• Analyze marketing performance, sales trends, lead generation, and ROI 
• Monitor campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing investments 
• Develop regional scorecards and executive performance reporting 
• Make data-driven recommendations that improve business results 
• Manage marketing budgets across multiple dealership locations 

Lead & Develop Your Team

• Manage and coach Regional Marketing Leads 
• Establish priorities, goals, and performance expectations 
• Conduct performance reviews and ongoing coaching 
• Develop scalable marketing processes and best practices 
• Foster collaboration across multiple dealership teams 

Partner with Dealership Leadership

• Serve as the primary marketing advisor to Regional Vice Presidents and General Managers 
• Participate in regional business planning meetings 
• Align marketing with sales, fixed operations, BDC, staffing, and operational goals 
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships throughout the organization 

Strengthen Community Presence

• Develop regional community engagement strategies 
• Partner on sponsorships, events, and local marketing initiatives 
• Evaluate partnerships based on business impact and brand visibility 
• Support dealership reputation and customer engagement initiatives 

Improve Marketing Operations

• Standardize campaign deployment and reporting processes 
• Leverage AI, automation, analytics, and technology to improve efficiency 
• Ensure brand consistency across all dealership locations 
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the marketing organization 

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field 
• 5–8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience 
• Experience supporting multi-location, retail, franchise, or dealership operations 
• Strong strategic planning and business analysis skills 
• Experience managing marketing budgets and performance metrics 
• Ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams 
• Excellent communication and presentation skills 
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region 

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following industries:
