Start and end dates are flexible. Interns must be available to work part-time (10-29 hours/week) in person at the designated office location.

Our internship program is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, as well as individuals seeking to deepen their education through immersive, professional experience in the entertainment industry. 

The Facilities Workspace Solutions (FWS) department provides services in Project Management, Design & Architecture, Real Estate. Workspace Experience, Relocations, Space Management and Space Planning across the Americas for Sony Pictures Entertainment. FWS is looking for a graduate-level intern to help optimize drawing maintenance & production, design services, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and determine how AI can be leveraged to automate and optimize:
    • Architectural drawing maintenance/management
    • Drawing production
    • Design services
    • Project Management Workbook
    • Design Guidelines Handbook
  • Determine if there are any add-on modules available, or other development is required.
  • Interface with SPE AI team to see what implementation is possible.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's Program
  • Strong knowledge in AI technology
  • Understanding of architectural drawings, drawing software and design process including REVIT and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work independently
  • Self-Starter
  • Strong communication skills
  • Presentation skills

The anticipated base salary for this position is $29/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
