SOM’s Hong Kong office is seeking a Sr. Marketing Coordinator to support the pursuit of new work across the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and coordinating tender submissions, bids, proposals, and client interview materials within the architecture and design industry, supporting broader business development strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Hong Kong Marketing & Business Development Manager and regional leadership to identify and support new opportunities. This position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, creative environment, where strong communication, writing, and graphic skills will be highly valued.

Position Responsibilities

• Tenders, Bids & Proposals: Creates tender responses, bids and proposals, either independently or under direction of others (depending on the complexity).
• Interviews: Creates marketing collateral for interviews and other presentations, and manages the interview process.
• Marketing Collateral: Creates and updates marketing collateral including resumes, project pages, brochures, and other textual and visual materials.
• Research: Conducts research on potential clients, leads and projects.
• Strategy: Assists with development and implementation of pursuit strategies, under direction of others.
• Business Plans: Engaged in business plan development and supporting marketing collateral.
• Salesforce: Uses Salesforce as reference for SOM project facts and contributes to data maintenance.
• Expertise: Develops working knowledge of A/E/I services offered by SOM, with knowledge of regional portfolio.
• Business Development: Involved in professional associations and/or industry associations as needed.
• Assists with other duties and tasks as may be required. 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Completion of four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
• 3+ years experience in marketing within the A/E/C industry.
• Strong writing and graphic design skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work with senior leaders across a firm.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Keen interest in marketing and the architectural and engineering industry.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM and OpenAsset is a plus.

Ability to work and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
