Maintenance Storekeeper - Day Shift

Job Title: Maintenance Storekeeper

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Non-Union

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 7:30am – 3:30pm plus overtime if required

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance parts, tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure accurate stock levels and availability.
• Receive, inspect, store, and issue parts and materials, maintaining usage records.
• Coordinate purchasing activities, including ordering parts, tracking deliveries, and working with suppliers to meet maintenance needs.
• Support maintenance operations by ensuring timely access to critical spare parts and assisting with inventory planning and control.
• Pick up
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean storeroom while complying with company safety, housekeeping, and inventory management standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with CMMS and inventory systems is an asset
• Valid Class 5 License
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is an asset.2–5 years of warehouse, inventory, or maintenance storeroom experience
• Some travel required to pick up parts
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with maintenance staff, vendors, and operations teams
• Able to meet the physical demands of the role

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to lift, push and pull 50+ pounds
• Required to bend, twist, push/pull and lean
• Climbing into and out of transport truck
• Extended periods of sitting, standing and walking
