About The Opportunity

Prepare prototype tools for producing samples.

Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate various pieces of processing equipment to complete sample, including drill, press brake, sheer, etc.
  • Work with designer to review sample and ensure from fit and function.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
  • Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
  • Start up and shut down machines properly.
  • Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
  • Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack -related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
  • Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
  • Contribute to a team effort.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to pass Level III Weld Test


Work Experience:

Required-

  • 1-3 years of welding/fabrication experience
  • Basic troubleshooting
  • Ability to train others

Desired-

  • 3-5 years of welding/fabrication experience
