Description
Associate degree and three (3) years of finance or payroll experience; knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office applications and financial management systems. APA Professional Payroll certification preferred.
Excellent Communication and customer service skills · Proficiency with Microsoft applications · Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through. · Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the organization. · Knowledge of current federal/state laws and regulations as they relate to employee wages and benefits · Demonstrated ability to test systems, troubleshoot errors, and implement effective solutions.
- Provide oversight to the accurate and timely submission of the College’s payroll; respond to employee inquiries.
- Provide technical support and guidance to Specialists.
- Act as liaison between payroll and divisions in all payroll related issues.
- Create ad hoc financial reports, as necessary.
- Verify coding and authorization of all source documents in accordance with accounting principles and College policy.
- Audit payroll processes prior to submission of payroll.
- Perform duties of specialists, as required.

- Coordinate the TimeClockPlus timekeeping process (i.e., oversee timekeeping errors, train end users, troubleshoot system issues).
- Update security profiles for TimeClockPlus timekeeping system.
- Act as liaison between IT, Payroll and TimeClockPlus consultant in implementation of automated timekeeping system for part time employees.
