Role Description:
Software Quality Engineer with expertise in distributed systems with 5-8 years of IT experience. As a Quality Engineer, he/she should ensure the performance, scalability, reliability of NT complex applications maintained in non-PROD environments, diverse technologies, and Cloud environments. The individual will work closely with various stakeholders in an agile fashion, to jointly own the solution, and strong communication and management skill to interface well with other parts of the organization.
The role is responsible for building and maintaining stable, scalable, production-like non-PROD environments, ensuring high-quality and compliant test data availability, and enabling end-to-end testing across complex systems
Responsibilities:
Environment Build & Management
Design, build, and maintain stable test environments
Replicate production configurations and dependencies
Define environment strategy (INT, UAT)
Monitor environment health and resolve issues
Perform root cause analysis for failures
Test Data Management & Setup
Define test data strategy and sourcing approaches
Execute test data provisioning and refresh cycles
Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL
Ensure end-to-end data traceability
Support CI/CD pipelines with automated data setup
Data Masking & Compliance
Ensure data privacy compliance in non-PROD environments
Implement data masking using Delphix
Define masking rules for sensitive data
Support audit and regulatory compliance
Required Experience and Skills:
8 years of experience; education and experience may be combined to satisfy experience requirements.
Strong knowledge on distributed systems, Linux or windows platform, microservices.
Strong knowledge of complex SQL and optimization techniques.
Strong knowledge in Database concept to analyze and from Data Refresh strategy – Oracle, MSSQL.
Intermediate knowledge of any scheduling related tools like Control-M.
Background in test data management, synthetic data generation.
Good Knowledge of Middleware/Messaging platforms: Solace, MQ, Kafka
Experience with tools like Azure Dev Ops(ADO) Boards, Github, CI/CD pipeline etc.
Understanding on DevOps model, ITSM, Shell scripting and Java script, PCF, Azure.
Domain knowledge would be added advantage.
