To develop and manage the accessory portfolio Passenger, SUV ACCY & NOM Development Supecialist  regulation compliance, ensuring each product is equipped with options aligned to customer needs and brand strategies and local regulations. Coordinate with key departments to ensure the commercial success of accessories in the market.

A day in the life of this role:

  • Develop and manage the accessory portfolio for Passenger & SUV vehicles, ensuring alignment with customer needs, brand strategies, and local regulations.
  • Identify and define new accessory opportunities based on vehicle specifications, market requirements, and customer preferences.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Product Planning, and other relevant departments to integrate accessories into product and communication strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze accessory performance in the market, proposing improvements and new business strategies.
  • Support supplier selection, development, and follow-up activities for accessory projects.
  • Conduct benchmarking and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive and innovative accessory offering.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate and support Local NOM compliance activities and regulatory analysis.
  • Lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful accessory launches and implementation.

Who We’re Looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, International Commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Development, Automotive Marketing, Product Planning, After Sales, R&D, Purchasing, Imports, Government Affairs, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive market, especially accessories and vehicle customization.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Advanced English and native Spanish proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Availability to travel up to 30%.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience in accessory development programs within the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of NOM regulations and compliance processes.
  • Experience managing suppliers and cross-functional projects.
  • Background in Business Administration or International Commerce.
  • Experience conducting market analysis, benchmarking, and strategic planning.
  • Professional certifications related to project management, automotive, or business development.
  • Language: Spanish (Native), English (Advance)

Desirable Requirements:

  • Travel %: 30%
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
  • Competencies: NOMS STPS, Marketin, Product planning, Governmental affairs.
