What you'll do...
Role summary:The (USA) Master Plumber, Facility Services, is responsible for maintaining and repairing plumbing systems to ensure facility safety, functionality, and compliance with all applicable codes. This role leads complex plumbing projects, provides technical expertise, and mentors maintenance staff. The position requires managing work orders, coordinating contractors, and ensuring quality standards are met while adhering to safety regulations. The Master Plumber supports continuous improvement efforts, responds promptly to emergencies, and collaborates across teams to uphold operational excellence and sustain facility integrity.

The team strategically deploys licensed plumbing professionals to reduce external service needs across multiple sites. Members perform preventive maintenance and repairs using skills in plumbing, carpentry, and equipment handling. They manage schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and code requirements.
- Lead and mentor Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers, providing technical guidance and training on plumbing techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination to support facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local plumbing codes, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing calls and participate in on-call rotations.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national codes.
- Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
- Experience leading and mentoring Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers, providing technical guidance and training.
- Strong skills in managing work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor coordination with accurate documentation.
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, maintaining safety and quality standards in all plumbing operations.
- Capability to respond promptly to emergency calls and perform pressure tests to identify leaks.
- Proficiency in ordering parts, tracking inventory, and submitting warranty claims.

The hourly wage range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
