ABOUT

BRAINEFFECT is one of the fastest-growing mind nutrition e-commerce companies in Germany. We envision a world that embraces mind nutrition and knows that feeding your mind is key to a happy and healthy life.

Our international team is ambitious. Together we are working hard to turn the food industry around with Mind Nutrition and make BRAINEFFECT the absolute Love Brand.

How do we do that? By practicing what we preach: We are focused and bring our full energy to every project with a strong results-oriented mindset. While bold goals and growth drive us, we also recognize the importance of balance and recovery to maintain a sustainable pace. Above all - we actually look forward to Monday mornings.

IN A NUTSHELL

As our Junior Retail Operations Manager, you will own the operational flow from retail deal closure to the first successful delivery.

You will ensure that orders, product data and inventory information are accurate across our retail channels, Xentral and logistics partners. When information is missing or systems do not align, you will follow up, resolve the issue and keep the order moving.

This individual-contributor role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured routines, works carefully under time pressure and takes satisfaction in seeing a process through from start to finish.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the operational flow of retail and B2B orders from deal closure to successful delivery.
  • Ensure orders move correctly through retail channels, Xentral and our logistics provider.
  • Maintain accurate product, pricing, SKU and EAN data across all relevant systems (Markant /Atrify).
  • Identify and resolve data mismatches, sync errors and delivery issues before they affect customers or retail partners.
  • Proactively chase missing information and push back when incomplete data puts deadlines at risk.
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain on stock availability, purchase orders and production timelines.
  • Help document and improve scalable processes while supporting an on-time delivery rate above 95%.
  • You will be part of the Supply Chain Team and report directly to the Head of SCM

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have up to two years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as retail, FMCG, food, e-commerce or a scale-up.
You have hands-on experience with master data, product files, price lists or other structured datasets (onboarding files, setting up account sheets, collecting SCM/B2B approvals) where accuracy is critical.
  • You have intermediate to advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • You understand basic retail and logistics terms such as SKUs, EANs and pallets.
  • You work with strong attention to detail and stay organized under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • You communicate proactively, follow up confidently and take ownership until an issue is fully resolved.
  • You speak English at C1 level and German at B1 level or higher.
  • You are based in Berlin or willing to relocate. We follow an office-first, remote-friendly work model: Each team has two fixed office days per week to foster collaboration and in-person exchange.

YOUR BENEFITS

  • We work in a hybrid mode (remote + office) and have flexible working hours.
  • We offer a company pension plan and support you with an allowance of 15%
  • We will subsidize your Urban Sports Club membership and lunch.
  • We guarantee 100% ownership, 100% trust and 0% micro management for you and your work style.
  • We regularly organize company lunches, yoga and sports sessions and parties.
  • We offer really good employee discounts on our products.
  • The best part: We offer our employees an annual "jobbatical" that lets you extend your vacation in the sun simply by continuing to work remotely.
