Position Summary
Tacten is currently recruiting IRATA Technicians (all Levels) to support upcoming projects in the Atlantic Region, specifically in Halifax/Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic industrial environment where you will gain hands-on experience, further develop your technical skills, and contribute to a team focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

- Candidates must be local to the Halifax/Dartmouth area or surrounding region.

Responsibilities
- Assisting with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at height
- Proficient in using various tools and techniques while suspended on ropes
- Assisting with rescue services when required
- Work within a composite crew and assist Journeyman with various tasks
- Coordinate with other personnel on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others
Requirements
Certifications & Qualifications
IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification
Skilled Labourer Ticket considered an asset
Safety certifications as required by client and provincial standards
Core Competencies
Strong work ethic and reliability
Exceptional safety and quality awareness
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workers
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work at a high technical and performance level
Valid driver's license
Clean driver's abstract
