Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planning Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the planning and scheduling efforts for a high profile building in Qiddiya, Riyadh.
The candidate should have significant PMC and construction supervision experience and a deep understanding of project planning methodologies.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review and provide detailed comments on the Contractor’s Programmes and reports.
Experience in hands on preparation of programmes and chairing workshops with contractors to provide guidance to enable them to achieve the requirements for acceptance of the Baseline, schedule monitoring and reporting.
Review and verify the contractor's daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Prepare reports on a regular basis to the Employer and corporate management.
Prepare reports and present to all levels including executive management.
Participate in the preparation of the weekly/monthly progress reports.
Verify the contractor's progress against the approved WIRs.
Following up on contractor site progress and report any deviation from the approved baseline.
Confirm the daily report data.
Analysis and reporting on contractor delay claims.
Verification of progress through site inspection as required.
Attend and contribute to meetings including progress, commercial and project controls, chairing meetings as required.
Prepare or review meeting minutes as required.
Mentoring Parsons and Contractor staff.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering or technical field.
Minimum 12+ Years of Experience.
Expert in Primavera P6, PowerPoint, Excel and other MS Office Software, Power BI is advantageous.
Experience in planning and monitoring progress on construction activities
Experience in analysis of complex contractor delay claims and preparing reports and recommendations for the client.
Experience detailed three weeks look ahead schedules and detailed scheduling of time critical activities.
Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Providing mentoring for team member and contractor staff in preparation of schedule in P6, and progress reporting.
