Your Team, Your Impact
This position is a part of Marvell IT team. This position is the only IT resource in Marvell Japan. Without the position, we don't be able to support Japan local users effeciently.What You Can Expect
Support Marvell Japan offices and users (Tokyo, Osaka, Hiratsuka) for IT day to day operation and projects.
Desktop support
- Marvell standard computer system setup and maintenance (OS, software, business application, VPN, email, printer, Intune etc.)
- Basic onsite troubleshooting and support on laptop, desktop, cellphone, tablet system
- IT accessories management. (SSD, keyboard, mouse, network cable, headphone, USB flash drive etc.)
- Work with/assist functional team and peers on Marvell cellphone App support.
- Work with/assist functional team and peers on desktop support
- Work with functional team and peers and vendors on IT room routine check, repair and maintenance and computer HW repair/maintenance.
Communication and collaboration
- Routine check on meeting room device: network ports, phones, VC, TV, scheduler etc., basic troubleshooting and maintenance
- Work with functional team and peers on communication and collaboration tools support (ZOOM, SLACK etc.).
- Assist functional team and peers on phone circuit installation/ maintenance/ troubleshooting
- Work with functional team, peers and vendors on HW repair and maintenance (VC system, TV, etc.)
Network support.
- Basic onsite troubleshooting and support on network system.
- Wired/wireless system routine check, maintenance.
- Work with functional team, peers and vendors on wired/wireless network troubleshooting
- Assist functional team, peers and vendors on network circuit installation /maintenance/ troubleshooting etc.
IT asset/inventory management
- Assign IT assets/accessories to or collect IT assets/accessories from users according to Marvell process.
- Inventory management: User acceptance, asset transfer & update in SNOW.
- Inventory and asset physical count.
- IT asset disposal and destruction
IT room maintenance
- Work with functional team and peers on new hardware installation in IT room.
- Work with functional team and peers and vendors on hardware routine check for servers, network devices, storage system etc.
- Environmental routine check: monitor IT room temperature, work with functional team and peers and GWS (facility) team on solving IT room environmental issues.

What We're Looking For
A dependable IT Desktop Support Specialist with 4 years of hands‑on experience supporting end‑users in fast‑paced corporate environments. Provide IT support to all Marvell Japan offices/users (Tokyo, Osaka, Hiratsuka). Strong troubleshooting capability, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. A good team player. Holds a college degree in Information Technology or a related field. Fluent English is required, and Mandarin proficiency is a plus for supporting multinational teams.
Core Qualifications
- Technical Support Expertise — Skilled in diagnosing and resolving Windows/macOS issues, application errors, system performance problems, and peripheral device failures.
- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting — Experienced with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, imaging tools.
- Network Fundamentals — Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting, and basic switch/port checks.
- ITSM & Ticketing Tools — Proficient with ServiceNow, or similar platforms for incident, request, and asset management.
- Endpoint Management — Familiar with SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or similar tools for imaging, patching, and device configuration.
- User Support & Communication — Strong customer‑service mindset with clear, patient communication in Mandarin and English; Mandarin ability is a plus.
- Security Awareness — Understanding of corporate security policies, MFA, antivirus tools, and data‑protection practices.
- Onsite Support Experience — Skilled in conference room setup, AV equipment support, office IT moves, and vendor coordination.
Education & Certifications
- College degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation.
