Digital Channels bei der Deutschen Bank Private Bank Deutschland ist verantwortlich für die digitalen Kundenzugangskanäle und Dienstleistungen, die von der Deutschen Bank und Postbank angeboten werden. Das Anwendungsportfolio der Domain besteht aus modernen Cloud-basierten Online-Banking- und Brokeragediensten, Administrations-Frontends für interne Mitarbeiter sowie weiteren innovativen und kundenzentrierten Lösungen.

Ihre Aufgaben

Ihre Verantwortung und Rolle:

• Sie übernehmen die Federführung bei der Optimierung der Sicherheitsarchitektur ("Security Posture") und dem aktiven Risikomanagement der Self-Service-Plattform für das Online Banking der Deutschen Bank.

• Als zentrales Mitglied des Cloud-Plattform-Teams tragen Sie die End-to-End-Verantwortung für die Sicherheit der Cloud-Infrastruktur des Online Bankings, einschließlich deren kontinuierlicher Analyse und iterativer Verbesserung.

Aufgaben im Bereich Cloud Security Engineering

• Secure Cloud Platform Engineering: Konzeption, Implementierung, Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung robuster Sicherheitsfeatures für die Cloud-Online-Banking-Plattform, inklusive der systematischen Härtung von Infrastruktur-Komponenten und Microservices.

• Security Lifecycle Management & Governance: Fachliche Führung der Feature-Teams durch den gesamten Software-Security-Lifecycle (SSLC), Verwaltung von PKI, Zertifikaten, kryptographischen Schlüsseln und Secrets sowie Steuerung von Compliance-Prozessen und architektonischen Optimierungen.

• DevSecOps Enablement: Bereitstellung einer hochsicheren und resilienten Plattform zur Unterstützung von Entwicklern und dem Online-Banking-Produkt, unter Implementierung von State-of-the-Art-Benchmarks und Vulnerability-Management-Prozessen.

Verantwortung für Secure CI/CD Pipelines

• Proactive Security Enhancement: Kontinuierliche Analyse und Implementierung von Optimierungspotenzialen zur Härtung der Systemlandschaft und zur Sicherstellung der Konformität mit internen und externen Richtlinien/Regulatorik.

• Secure Self-Service Enablement: Entwicklung und Bereitstellung von Workflows, die Feature-Teams befähigen, ihre Workloads sicher, automatisiert und im Self-Service-Modell zu deployen.

Ihre Fähigkeiten und Erfahrungen

• Fundierte Security-Expertise: Expertenwissen und praxiserprobte Erfahrung in Sicherheitsarchitekturen, sicheren Implementierungsmustern und Strategien zur Risikominimierung.

• Service Mesh & Automation: Praktische Expertise im Umgang mit Service-Mesh-Technologien (z. B. Istio), automatisiertem Zertifikatsmanagement sowie CI/CD-Pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform).

• Cloud- & Container-Plattformen: Versierter Umgang mit Kubernetes-basierten Container-Plattformen (z. B. GKE) und Container-Technologien (Docker).

• Microservices & API-Management: Tiefgehendes Verständnis von Microservice-Architekturen und Erfahrung mit API-Management-Lösungen (z. B. Apigee, WSO2).

• Relevante Zertifizierungen: Nachweisbare Qualifikationen wie GCP Professional Cloud Architect/Security Engineer, Terraform Engineer, CISSP, CompTIA Security+/CySA+, CEH oder OSCP.

Digital Channels at Deutsche Bank Private Bank Germany is responsible for the digital customer access channels and services offered by Deutsche Bank and Postbank. The Domain application portfolio consists of modern cloud-driven Online Banking & Brokerage customer services, administration frontends used by internal employees and further customer-oriented innovative solutions.

We are striving to achieve the highest grade of application availability, scalability, technology- and security standard compliance allowing us to act as an enabler for highest quality cloud-based software solutions and processes at Deutsche Bank. 

Your Key Responsibilities

• Take lead on improving the security posture and managing the risks of the self-service platform that has been built to support Deutsche Bank’s Online Banking.

• Become a central part of our cloud platform team, taking ownership of Online Banking’s cloud infrastructure security, constantly reflecting and improving on it.

For Cloud Security Infrastructure Engineering you

• Secure Cloud Platform Engineering: Design, implement, operate, and enhance security features for a robust Cloud Online Banking platform, including hardening infrastructure and microservices.

• Security Lifecycle & Compliance Leadership: Guide feature teams through the software security lifecycle, managing PKI, certificates, cryptographic keys, and secrets, while leading compliance and architectural improvements.

• Developer and Product Security Enablement: Deliver a secure and resilient platform that supports developers and the overall Online Banking product, incorporating state-of-the-art benchmarks and vulnerability management.

For CI/CD pipelines you

• Proactive Security Enhancement: Proactively identify and implement improvements for hardening and compliance with policies/regulations.

• Secure Self-Service Enablement: Deliver and maintain workflows to empower feature teams to securely build and deploy workloads in a self-service manner.

Your skills and experiences

• Security Expertise: Expert in security capabilities, secure implementations, and risk reduction strategies incl hands-on experience

• Service Mesh & Automation: Hands-on experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio), automated certificate management, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Terraform).

• Cloud & Container Platforms: Proficient in Kubernetes (GKE) and container technologies (Docker).

• Microservices & API Management: Strong understanding of microservice architectures and experience with API Management (e.g., Apigee, WSO2).

• Relevant Certifications: Possesses certifications such as GCP Professional Cloud Architect/Security Engineer, Terraform Engineer, CISSP, CompTIA Security+/CySA+, CEH, or OSCP
