ACCIONA is delivering the design and construction of two new multi-user wharves at Lumsden Point, Port Hedland, for Pilbara Ports Authority. The project supports Australia's critical minerals and renewable energy sectors, enabling the export of lithium and copper concentrates and the import of wind turbine components. This landmark infrastructure investment strengthens the Pilbara's trade capacity for decades to come.
About Opportunity
Based in our Northbridge corporate office, you'll manage the upstream and downstream contractual aspects of the Lumsden Point wharf construction project. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll create, negotiate and execute subcontracts, then administer them day to day to protect ACCIONA's rights and ensure obligations are met. You'll work closely with operations, finance and legal teams to keep contract processes running smoothly, while identifying risks and opportunities across the supply chain.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage subcontractor relationships and supply chain performance
- Negotiate and execute subcontracts aligned to project needs
- Identify, log and mitigate contractual and commercial risks
- Prepare tender documents and evaluate proposals
- Apply procurement strategies that deliver value for money
- Produce monthly reports on project commercial performance
- Ensure compliance with legal and commercial requirements
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Commerce
- Experience in buildings or civil construction contracts administration
- Quantity Surveying qualification or experience (desirable)
- Construction Induction Training (White Card), face-to-face
