Job Description:
About the Role
As a Process Automation Specialist embedded within the Cybersecurity team, you will work directly alongside information security professionals to translate their operational workflows into repeatable, automated, and scalable processes. Your primary value is your ability to listen to subject matter experts, understand what they do, and convert that knowledge into practical automation solutions using AI, low-code platforms, and modern workflow tools.
You will operate as an automation-focused consultant and AI architect within the team — helping design solutions, identify reusable patterns across use cases, and coordinate with platform owners to bring those solutions to life. You are not expected to be an information security specialist. You are expected to be an exceptional process translator and automation thinker who can operate effectively in a security-focused environment.
This role is part of a broader AI Adoption strategy that follows a structured Build → Compose → Enable maturity model. You will be one of the hands-on contributors executing against a defined strategy, working within an established operating model and intake process.
Core Responsibilities
• Process Translation — Work closely with cybersecurity specialists to deeply understand their workflows, pain points, and operational needs, and translate those into structured, repeatable automation designs
• Automation Design & Solution Architecture — Propose automation approaches, solution blueprints, and AI-assisted workflows using low-code, no-code, prompt engineering, and multi-agent design principles
• Pattern Identification & Synthesis — Identify recurring patterns across use cases and contribute to building reusable solution components that accelerate future delivery
• AI Enablement Support — Support the intake, assessment, and progression of AI and automation use cases through the team's established operating model
• Platform Coordination — Define solution parameters and requirements clearly enough to coordinate with platform owners and technical teams who will execute the build; no direct platform development required
• Continuous Improvement — Evaluate existing workflows and recommend improvements that reduce manual effort, increase consistency, and strengthen operational effectiveness
Must Have Requirement:
• 3+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or another heavily regulated industry
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business or operational processes into repeatable, automated workflows — regardless of domain
• Hands-on experience with low-code and no-code automation platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, or similar enterprise tools)
• Solid understanding of modern AI concepts including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, context engineering, and multi-agent system design
• Experience acting in a consulting or solution design capacity — gathering requirements, proposing automation architectures, and coordinating delivery with technical teams
• Experience identifying patterns across multiple use cases or processes and converting them into reusable solution components
Nice to Have:
• Exposure to or working knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, or information security environments (asset, not required)
• Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure AI, or related tools (e.g., PL-900, AI-900, or similar)
• Familiarity with broader enterprise automation platforms beyond Power Platform (e.g., UiPath, ServiceNow, or similar)
• Experience working within structured AI adoption or digital transformation programs
