TECO-Westinghouse is seeking a Component Assembler II to assemble electric motor components and subassemblies used in world-class industrial products. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing, precision work, and building high-quality equipment in a team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Assemble electric motor components and subassemblies following engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, presses, and assembly equipment safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and production documents.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, including bearings, rotors, stators, housings, shafts, and wiring.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and proper fit.
• Conduct basic functional testing and visual inspections.
• Maintain accurate production documentation.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet production schedules while maintaining high workmanship standards.
