The Material Handler, Production Operations (evening shift) is responsible for ensuring the timely supply of components and materials to production lines, as well as the movement and storage of finished goods within the warehouse.
This position reports to the Production Co-Ordinator and is part of the Production Operations department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Be responsible for supplying production lines with components and materials required for production including movement and storage of finished goods to the warehouse, Cycle Counting, Disposal of expired stock.
Obtaining stock from requisitions orders for other departments and requisitioning stock from the main warehouse.
Ensure that all operations are performed to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Systems regulations.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Must have a valid forklift license (Reach and Counterbalance).
Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods during shift.
Use of pallet trucks or material handling equipment required (training provided).
Work in temperature-controlled environments (e.g. cold storage) may be required
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
A Manufacturing role ideally with forklift driving experience.
Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment.
Working Hours:
This is an evening shift role, with working hours as follows:
Monday to Friday: 4pm to midnight.
Friday: 3pm to 10pm.
